Donna's Salon & Barber Shop was established in 2009 at its original location on 12th Avenue in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and is owned and operated by Donna Cook.

In March of 2016 it relocated to Dickson, Oklahoma.

In early 2020 the shop moved once again back to Ardmore, at the corner of Harris & Maxwell, Inside #79 of the Broadlawn Shops Shopping Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Owner/Stylist

Donna Cook graduated from SOTC and became a licensed Cosmetologist in 2002, after winning regional awards and attending state and national competitions for Cosmetology & VICA.

In May of 2002 she was employed by Pro-Cuts of Ardmore as a full time stylist. She left Pro-Cuts in May of 2003 to work for Raquel's Hairstyles in Lone Grove until spring of 2004, returning to work at Pro-Cuts of Ardmore. During her employment she achieved product management and assistant manager titles, received hours of continuing education, and attended many trade shows.

In Spring of 2009 Donna set out to start her own salon, and opened the doors of Donna's Salon & Barber Shop for the first time in November of 2009 on 12th Avenue in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Donna went on to attend many more trade shows & continuing education by State Beauty Co. and Armstrong McCall, focusing on the Scruples, Redken, Chi, and Schwarzkopf brands and techniques. In 2014 She received The Ardmoreite's coveted People's Choice Award for Favorite Stylist, thanks to her valued clientele.

After several years at 12th Street in Ardmore, Donna's Salon & Barber Shop moved Dickson, Oklahoma in March of 2016.

In January 2020, the shop went through a transformation and re-located back to Ardmore, into the Broadlawn Shopping Center, located at #79 Broadlawn Village.

Missed online appointments are charged 100% of services scheduled. Online appointments canceled without 48 hours of notice, and without rescheduling online the same day are treated as missed appointments. Online appointments canceled without 48 hours notice and rescheduled the same day are charged 50% of all services scheduled.

All chemical services require a $60.00 non-refundable deposit, that will be applied from your service cost at check-out.

I understand true emergencies arise, but this policy exists because it has become necessary so that I may continue to serve you and receive enough notice to allow other clients access to time on the calendar. Thank you for your patronage and consideration!
